Terms of Use
Last updated October 23, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Piano Star when you use the website. By using Piano Star you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
Piano Star is in beta
We’re still building Piano Star. Features may change, and you may find bugs. We’d love to hear about them through the feedback button.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older to create an account.
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself.
- You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your Profile.
Premium
- Premium costs $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year. New members get a 7-day free trial.
- Premium renews automatically at the end of the trial and of each billing period until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your Profile; you keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Cancel during the trial and you won’t be charged.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Except where the law says otherwise, payments aren’t refunded, but if something went wrong, contact us and we’ll do our best to make it right.
- If prices change, we’ll tell you before your next renewal.
Music you upload (My Music)
- Only upload music you have the right to use. Pieces you upload are for your own practice.
- You keep any rights you have in what you upload. You let us store and process it to run My Music.
- We may remove uploads that break these terms.
Fair use
Don’t misuse Piano Star: no attacking or overloading the service, trying to get into other people’s accounts, copying our lessons and arrangements in bulk, or getting around Premium. We may suspend accounts that do.
Our content
Lessons, arrangements, artwork and the Piano Star name and logo belong to Piano Star. Many songs are traditional or in the public domain; our arrangements of them are our own.
No guarantees
Piano Star is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Piano Star isn’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; we’ll change the date at the top and tell members about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA. Questions? Use the Send feedback button.
